JULY IS VAN HALEN MONTH!
July is VAN HALEN MONTH! WE were teenagers back in 1979. That was when WE heard about VAN HALEN. A fellow school chum from Chicago introduced US to the band. WE grew up in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. WE figured Jeff from the Windy City knew what he was talking about when it came to new rock bands! "Running With The Devil" was the first song WE heard from VAN HALEN! Right away the guitarwork made a Gargantuan Impression! WE were Fans and continued to follow the band through the years! It did not matter who was at vocals. What mattered was EDDIE VAN HALEN'S Chingon aka Badass Guitar Playing!
LUNCH LISTEN WITH HAM SANDWICH
No one seemed to be buying bags of pinto beans last year before racist President Donald Trump declared a National Emergency because of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Boom! Even the dissed beans were hard to find! WE love beans. They kept US alive. WE ca them Maromeros because they tumble in boiling water. Lunch is beans, a flour tortilla. Sriracha sauce on the frijoles! Music from HAM SANDWICH! "Fandango" suits US fine!
